Terms and Conditions — Ordering and Returns

These terms cover buying from mtjatlanta.com. By placing an order you agree to them. If something here does not seem right for your order, talk to us before you buy — we would rather sort it out first.

Your account

You need an account to place an order, so that we can reach you about it and so you can see it later. Keep your password to yourself — anything ordered through your account is treated as ordered by you. If you think someone else has got into your account, tell us straight away.

We may suspend an account that is being used for fraud or abuse.

Prices and availability

Prices are in US dollars and are the price shown at the moment you place the order. Stock counts are kept up to date, but items do occasionally sell out between your order and our confirmation — if that happens we will call you and either hold the order until we can restock it or cancel it, whichever you prefer.

If an item is listed at an obviously wrong price because of a typing error, we will contact you before doing anything rather than simply charging you.

Placing an order

Placing an order is an offer to buy. It becomes a sale once your payment has been taken, and you will get a confirmation email with the order number and what was in it. We may still call you to check the delivery address before the order goes out.

Payment

Orders are paid for by card at checkout. Payment is handled by Stripe on their own secure pages — your card details are never entered on this website and never reach us. Nobody from Mtjatlanta will ever ring you and ask for card or bank details.

Your order is only confirmed once payment has gone through. If a payment does not complete, the order is held unpaid and nothing is charged.

Delivery

We deliver to the address you give at checkout. Please make sure someone is there to receive the order — it is already paid for, so nothing is owed on the doorstep.

Delivery is free at the moment. If that ever changes, the charge will be shown in your basket before you place the order.

All sales are final

We do not accept returns or exchanges. Once an order has been delivered and paid for, it cannot be sent back for a refund or swapped for something else. Please check the metal, the size and the piece itself carefully before you buy.

Because of this, we would rather you asked first than guessed. Call us on (404) 409-8652 and we will talk you through sizes, weights and finishes, or send you more photographs of a particular piece.

You are also welcome to look at the piece when it is delivered, before you pay for it.

Faulty items are different. If something reaches you damaged, or is not the piece you ordered, tell us within 48 hours of delivery and we will put it right. Nothing in these terms takes away your legal rights over goods that are faulty or not as described.

How pieces look

We photograph our jewellery as accurately as we can, but screens vary and metal and stones catch the light differently in person. Small differences in shade between the photograph and the piece are normal and are not a fault. Weights and measurements are close approximations.

Ring sizes are as listed. If you are unsure of your size, call us before ordering — it is easier than sending a ring back.

Caring for your jewellery

Gold, silver, tungsten and stainless steel each need different care. Keep pieces away from perfume, chlorine and household cleaners, and store them separately so they do not scratch each other. Damage from wear, accident or improper care is not a manufacturing fault.
